Ranking NFL Teams For 2022 Season

Spread the love

In anticipation of the start of the season, and 103 years of NFL, we did the rating of some NFL franchises. We want to say right away that our personal opinion was taken into account when compiling the rating.

We will say that five years ago it might have looked different. Even now, two or three positions could be shifted to one side or the other. The description will include pros and cons, and why we would root or not for a particular team. The new season is expected to start in September so buy nfl jerseys now.

Table of Contents

Seattle Seahawks

Pros: Winning the 2014 Super Bowl. Chic (mysterious) name and the most recognizable logo. The loudest fans in the championship. Seattle is just obsessed with their team (Seattle actually has another losing team in baseball (MLB) and will soon be in the NHL).

Cons: The Seahawks won the 2014 Super Bowl and lost the 2015 Super Bowl, after which the number of fans who are “since childhood for …” just rolls over.

Carolina Panthers

Pros:  Is a young team. In both Carolinas (North and South) until 1995 there was no team in the major leagues (then came the Hurricanes (NHL) and the Hornets (NBA)). The Panthers have a modern logo and stylish colors. They played twice in the Super Bowl (2003 and 2015), although they lost both.

Cons:  Lost two Super Bowls. Scandal with the previous owner of the team, Jerry Richardson, who was accused of racism and harassment of women working for him (he had to sell the team).

New Orleans Saints

Pros:  The brightest, most colorful and cheerful city. Drama in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana. The disaster left not only a mark in the history of the city, but also threatened to move the team to another city. They played the 2005 season at different stadiums. And already in 2006, the first match of the new season was played at home in New Orleans. And three years later, in 2009, they won their first Super Bowl. Quarterback Drew Brees.

Cons: They were nicknamed “Aints” – they say they are not capable of anything (winning matches). The nickname first appeared in 1980, when the Saints lost 15 of their 16 matches. And then for 21 years they could not finish the season with a positive number of victories. In the season that the Saints won the Super Bowl, their head coach Sean Payton rewarded with money the defenders of his team who inflicted injuries on opponents. The scandal led to a one-year suspension of the coach.

Philadelphia Eagles

Pros: In 2018, we finally had our first Super Bowl win. The Eagles make the playoffs very often. Philadelphia has crazy fans. The Eagles are simply my favorite team.

Cons:  The Eagles are generally considered to have the worst fans in the entire league. Quarterback Carlos Wentz is about to break and Nick Foal is no longer on the team.

Green Bay Packers

Pros:  Oldest NFL team (founded in 1919). The Packers are the only fan-owned non-profit team in American professional sports. In the 60s, the Packers made a splash, winning the Super Bowl 4 times (1966, 1967, 1996 and 2010). The winner of the first Super Bowl, the trophy awarded for victory is named after their coach Vince Lombardi. Located in the small town of Green Bay, but has fans all over the world. The team has never moved anywhere (except for matches in Milwaukee).

Cons: Name from original sponsor Indian Packing Company. Many people think that calling their team “Packers” is silly or funny. Having the club’s shares (which give nothing) the fans are simply blown away, they are foaming at the mouth to prove that they are the owners and even wear T-shirts with such an inscription. Fans are very fond of wearing hats in the form of a triangular piece of cheese, although it looks somehow “clownish” to me.
