How to Fix Sync Music and Video Using Windows Media Player?

Step 1: Open the WMP application and click on the Sync option present on the top-right corner of the app window.

Sync Through Automatic Mode

Click on the Finish option to Sync media files automatically when the default selected mode is automatic. Also, the mode keeps the track of the storage capacity of the portable device.

You can transfer selective files or playlists every time you connect to an external device. Also, you can create auto playlists for your device.

However, to move to automatic mode from the default one, follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 4: Click on create a new playlist to build an auto playlist for your device. Select the criteria to add songs or videos to the new playlist.

Step 5: Create the auto playlist and then click on the Finish button to apply the updates.  

Sync Through Manual Mode

In order to set the sync files of the portable device through manual mode use the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Once you have connected the device click on the finish option.

Step 2: Select the media files from the portable device and drop these files in the Sync List column to the right of the Windows Media player.

Step 3: Click on the Start Sync option to transfer the files.
